How to change SMTP port in Outlook?

a.    Via live.com

  1. Login to your Outlook account.
  2. Click Settings, located at the upper right of the screen.
  3. Click Options.
  4. Click Your email accounts under Managing your account.
  5. Locate Outgoing (SMTP) server information.
  6. Now, you can edit your SMTP port.
  7. Click Save.

b.    Via Outlook 2007

  1. Load Microsoft Outlook 2007.
  2. From the main screen open the Tools menu and then select Account Settings.
  3. Select your email account from the list.
  4. Click the Change button.
  5. Change the Outgoing mail server (SMTP).
  6. Click the More Settings button.
  7. Select the Outgoing Server tab.
  8. Tick My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
  9. Select Log on using.
  10. Enter your Username and Password.
  11. Click on the Advanced tab.
  12. Change the Outgoing mail (SMTP) port.
  13. Click OK.
  14. Click Next then Finish Button.
  15. Click Close.
  16. You will be directed to the main screen of Outlook 2007.
  17. Close the application and then reload.
  18. Check if you are online and try to send emails to ensure that you are online.

c.    Via Outlook 2010

  1. Load Microsoft Outlook 2010.
  2. Select Info from the File menu.
  3. Select Account Settings then click on the dropdown Account Settings.
  4. Select your mail account and click Change.
  5. Enter your email address into the E-mail Address field.
  6. Change the Outgoing mail server (SMTP).
  7. Click on the Outgoing Server tab.
  8. Make sure that the setting My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authenticationis enabled, select Log on using, then enter your SMTP Username into User Name, and your SMTP Password into Password.
  9. Click on the Advanced' tab.
  10. Change your Outgoing server (SMTP).
  11. Click OK.
  12. Click Next then Finish Button.
  13. Click Close.
  14. You will be directed to the main screen of Outlook 2010.
  15. Close the application and then reload.
  16. Check if you are online and try to send emails to ensure that you are online.

 

d.    Via Outlook 2013

  1. Load Microsoft Outlook 2013
  2. Go to the File tab
  3. Click on Account Settings
  4. Click the drop-down button titled Account Settings.
  5. Select your email account from the list.
  6. Click the Change button Change the Outgoing mail server (SMTP).
  7. Click the More Settings button
  8. Select the Outgoing Server tab
  9. Tick My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
  10. Select Log on using
  11. Enter your Username and Password.
  12. Click OK.
  13. Select the Advanced tab
  14. Change the Outgoing mail (SMTP) port.
  15. Click OK.
  16. Click Next then Finish Button.
  17. Click Close.
  18. You will be directed to the main screen of Outlook 2013.
  19. Close the application and then reload.
  20. Check if you are online and try to send emails to ensure that you are online.
